EXISTENTIAL THERAPY

“The meaning of life is to give life meaning.”
― Viktor E. Frankl

Existential analysis is a philosophical approach to therapy.  Sessions are conducted face to face and our conversations focus on what holds meaning to you and how the choices you make can best align with your individual value system.  Existential analysis is particularly suited to respond to today's most prevalent ailments -- burnout, apocalyptic anxiety, and information overload --  and life's most difficult challenges : becoming a parent, separation, illness, aging, loss of loved ones, living abroad...

Profoundly optimistic, this approach to therapy sees human beings as possessing an intrinsic capacity to make sense out of our lives, even in the most challenging of circumstances. Adversity becomes an opportunity to reconnect with what makes our lives full, unique and important.

With 20 years experience living in France, I understand the confusing, alienating, and uplifting aspects of living abroad.  I consult online and serve both English and French-speaking communities.

In my practice, we address a number of aspects of what it is to be a human being:

  • Major life transitions

  • Stress, Anxiety, Overload

  • Burnout at work, school or home

  • Relationship troubles

  • Self Esteem

  • Parenting

  • Separation and Loss

  • Spirituality
